We invite you to join us for the 'Vita Bella Farm Tour' on April 22nd, where we will be opening our farm to all and re-discovering agriculture together.  During our ten years in Oklahoma, we have embraced the challenges of caring for livestock and managing our land with sustainable practices.  So during this tour, we will be walking across swales that span our 180 acre farm. We will be taking a deeper look into water management, including roof-catchment systems and ponds. The fifteen ponds on our farm provide water to our cattle herd, which we will be happy to showcase for you. This herd is critical to our farm. We rotate them frequently. They are the key to “grass management”, an invaluable practice for regenerating landscapes that has been popularized by Joel Salatin. These are a few of the strategies that our family has implemented during our journey toward re-capturing a vibrant lifestyle. We have re-connected to agrarian values and we welcome you for an experiential taste of agriculture and deeper look at land stewardship.
